Bundling

You have heard of bundling... well for us bundling means dressing to stay warm. The challenge is to bundle enough so you don't feel the chill and not so much you have to peel off garments.

The last two rows have been wonderful. The fog has lifted the wind has held off, the sun has come out. Who says you can't row in late autumn, early winter?

Dec 25th row: 9 rowers and one cox

This ship - African Avocet,
sails under a Bahamas flag.
We wondered what kind of cargo they carry -
with all those extra cranes?
Cars? Logs?

The clouds were amazing, dark and ominous. The shadows deep and dark.

Do you know what this boat is used for? Could it be for putting out a boom in case of a spill?

Dec 2 was milder. Only 7 on board. Dingle followed us all the way out into the bay and back,
but no luck catching him with the camera.

Still waters make for a lovely row.
This time, the bundling was perfect.
