Drifting on Still Water

We rowed out into the bay. Just 6 of us today.

We lazily drifted along watching bubble rafts float by.

The bay was like a big bathtub.

Then the idea to wash the boat

for the Maritime Fest this weekend 

popped up along with the harbor seal who had been trailing us.

Sunshine and a strong breeze

We are becoming more comfortable with our new spot - especially at high tide. 

It doesn't take us long now to grab our gear and 'get out there.'

Today there was a pretty good wind so our water break had to be quick.
