Rain or shine

Thanksgiving Time - it is a blessing, rain or shine we gather almost without fail. Sure we miss when one of us is sick or one of the family or when we have a major art project underway, or when we are off traveling, but otherwise we are as faithful as the sun. We are very thankful for Mother Nature always provides each of us a fresh view on life. We are blessed. We remind everyone that you too could have these blessings - if only you would get out in nature. Take a hike, go to the waters edge, climb a mountain, spend time in the woods.
Nature will always provide you with a fresh view on life.

Let  it shine, let it shine, let it shine!

Rain, rain come again another day....

Time Together...
regardless of the weather.
They pumped the boat
and then
they read a book together as they had tea.
It was as lovely as lovely can be.

Catching up

In September the Verite crew were invited to a picnic in the Petrich parking lot. What fun!

It did however, rain and rain.

We prefer for it not to and so it stopped just in time to go row.

We don't like to push our luck with Mother Nature so
when the storm clouds gather it is time to go home.

While I was away the crew did play...
there was Sally's birthday.
I am not sure what mischief they got into. They won't say.

The crew also got involved with painting boats for the Tacoma Boat Builder's fundraiser.
Great fun.

and they rowed on the 14th.
Look at all the fun.

By the time I got back in October it was cold, but we didn't care - the sun was out.

We went the distance - to go 'round the ship Artemis.

This past week the tide and wind were our limiters
otherwise we would have gone round her again.
We are not sure why she is still in the bay?

We blew all the way back into the waterway - a strong north wind did blow.
It was stronger than the outgoing tide - imagine that!

Winter may be on its way, but until it hits we will continue to have tea in the bay
as the horsetails fly by.
