International Women's Day

March 8th was International Women's Day

Without fanfare or celebration of that the Women on the Water (WOWers) simply showed up on Monday at the Foss Waterway Seaport. Like clockwork they streamed in just like the sun. With smiling faces they were ready and willing to do whatever needed to be done. They hear the beat of the deadline drawing near for the boat to be moved back to the other side. Rightly so for the pace is picking up at the Foss Waterway Seaport. Soon the Seaport's new displays will be finished and the museum will be once again be open to the public.

Pretty boats, lots of interesting stuff - But our eyes are on Verite.
She has a new bottom color - black. Striking & Different.... at the very least - let us hope it lasts the whole season and gives good protection from the elements. At the best Verite looks beautiful with a cutting edge as she slices her way through the Salish Sea.

Noisy love

This last week the Seaport was a buzz with sound. Verite at the center of all of it.
Check out the video.

Giggle... people move really fast when you say "Butt Crack"

Another good work day.

Soups On!

What a great crew.
I think we impressed the director of the Seaport with our turn out on Monday.
I counted at least 12 WOWers, along with Hank and Nancy's husband.
The reward for making progress on the boat
was to walk up to Infinite Soups on A street for a bowl of soup.
Add some Voski bread and a cup of Lifeboat Tea - well,
it just doesn't get better than that!

Lifeboat Tea is the best - bar none.
Supporting Lifeboat saves lives!
Not to mention restores our senses so we can keep working on.
