From a distance... on another day - when the bay was approachable.
That was not this last Monday.
Breezy, blustery, wet and drippy was the forecast for the day.
Usually we can override the doom and gloom for the few hours we are on the water.
While not unreasonable it was drippy. Especially for those without a hat.
We might suggest they move the kayaker's dock
just a little bit so it is out of the weather.
I mean really, tea in the rain?
The tide was high - it was noticeable as we walked the perfectly horizontal gang-plank
on our way out to the boat.
It felt strange.
By the time we got back things were more normal.
